Stephen is currently a managing principal of Red Beard Capital LLC (RBC). RBC engages in sourcing and managing various investments for their clients, as well performing the following services; acquisition and divestiture advisory engagements & family office investment advisory services.

Prior to Stephen co-founding RBC, he was employed by Henry Investment Group (HIG). His role involved locating investment opportunities, oversight of several portfolio companies, and was responsible for structuring and negotiating investments on behalf of HIG. During his time at HIG he was instrumental in numerous transactions. He also served as marketing director for several affiliates of HIG. Stephen was able to successfully source and close six different transactions for HIG.

Before joining HIG, Stephen was the CFO of an oil and gas service company, TitanLiner. Stephen was instrumental in helping to grow TitanLiner from a start-up in 2011 to a sizeable business in 2012. Stephen helped the ownership of TitanLiner capitalize on the tremendous growth by facilitating a partial divestiture of TitanLiner in 2012.

Stephen ventured into the franchise industry in 2010. He has developed and currently operates seven locations across Texas. Stephen currently owns and operates this business as well as owning an interest in and participating in the oversight of an oil and gas service company.

Stephen was employed by Johnson Miller & Co. of Midland, Texas prior to joining TitanLiner. Stephen was involved in income tax compliance and financial statement compilations while employed by Johnson Miller & Co.

Stephen is a CPA and earned a BBA in Accounting from Texas Tech University and earned a MBA from University of Texas Permian Basin.
